Just Write

I once told an artist friend that I wished I had her talent. Later, I realized in order for something to be appreciated, it must first have someone who connects to its message and makes personal meaning. Writers strive for that connection. Humans are hard-wired for story. It is how we interpret virtually every part of our lives. Each day is its own story with a beginning, middle, and end. Each day brings a new chapter. People define their lives by the stories they build and tell. Those stories become an epic no different than Odysseus. Some of us are just more inclined to make sense of their journey through writing. 

Words are the most powerful element in the universe. They are eternal. Once spoken or written, they become the threads of the cosmos.
